Education/Experience: A.S. degree in electronic technology or related field or equivalent experience required. 5+ years directly related experience testing and trouble-shooting electro-mechanical equipment.

Description: To ensure systems are maintained and functional according to established GMP & ISO, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Performs electro-mechanical maintenance and repairs on process equipment to ensure safe and reliable effective operations. Interprets information from equipment manuals, schematics and other documentation to troubleshoot process equipment malfunctions in order to maximize production time. Recommends tool and test instrument purchases for functional area to properly debug test machinery and processes.

Position requirements and responsibilities include:

- Maintain and repair process and non-process related equipment. In some cases, field fabrication / engineering required.
- Coordinates with contractors and vendors to ensure quality of work, obtaining approval for bids, monitor work progress, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of UBC, UFC, NEC and ADA regulations/codes.
- Performs advanced PM’s per required documentation. Updates computer based PM program and appropriate hard files.
- Must be capable of trouble shooting computer-based controls and equipment including those at the component level.
- Analyze all molds for required tooling to increase machine efficiency.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement. Takes the initiative to correct / repair equipment with little or no prompting.
- Active member of the Company Emergency Spill Response and Utility Shutdown team.
- Position requires accessibility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Performs equipment set-up, installation, repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Responsible for performing scheduled maintenance activities.
- Coordinates calibration activities with operations and test department.
- Ensures all activities are in compliance with Quality System requirements.
